# Sekura JS v0.1 — macOS Apple Silicon

## Platform

This build targets macOS on Apple Silicon (`arm64`). It contains the two command-line programs:

- `sekura-js` — Sekura JS compiler for Memora8/MR8;
- `sekura-sjv` — SJV/SJP verifier and SystemVerilog verification tool.

No C++ compiler, CMake, Xcode, VS Code, or MR8 simulator is required to run these binaries.

## Required runtime dependency

Install Homebrew's `libsodium`. The executables dynamically load it at startup for Ed25519 functionality:

```sh
brew install libsodium
```

The build uses macOS's system ZLIB library; there is no need to install ZLIB separately.

## Solver tools

Install Z3 and make sure `z3` is available on `PATH` for SJV proof generation and SJP replay/verification:

```sh
brew install z3
z3 --version
```

CVC5 is optional. Install it only if you want the additional cross-check with
`verify-sjp --cross-check-cvc5`:

```sh
brew install --cask cvc5/cvc5/cvc5
cvc5 --version
```

## Check the binaries

From the directory containing the executables, run:

```sh
./sekura-js --version
./sekura-sjv --version
```

Both should report `v0.1`.

## Included files

- `sekura-js` and `sekura-sjv` — macOS arm64 executables;
- `LICENSE` — Sekura JS proprietary software license;
- `THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md` — notices for external components.
